My Top 3 Players for Each Team in the Premier League Season 2020/21 (Part Three of Four)

A most important player can range from a player who is purely pivotal for the team from a structural perspective to someone capable of scoring a hat trick. The players selected must have played at least one game as a substitute in Matchweek 1 to 8. In Part Three the five teams are the 11th to 15th teams alphabetically in the Premier League. Those teams are Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Sheffield United. Check out Part Three!

Liverpool (Top 3 Most Important Players)

3rd Most Important Player- Andrew Robertson has two goals and one assist. This Season, he has been one of the best left backs in the Premier League.
2nd Most Important Player- Mohamed Salah may play on the wing, but he has still contributed eight goals along with an assist.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Sadio Mané has four goals and provided three assists. He wasn’t playing when Liverpool lost 7-2 to Aston Villa. Perhaps he is a bit of a barometer for Liverpool.

Manchester City (Top 3 Most Important Players)

3rd Most Important Player- Ederson, the goalkeeper at Manchester City has conceded the equal least goals of any goalkeeper in the Premier League. He has kept two clean sheets and only conceded nine goals in seven games.
2nd Most Important Player- Kyle Walker has been arguably the best right back in the Premier League.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Kevin De Bruyne has one goal and three assists, despite only starting five of seven games.

Manchester United (Top 3 Most Important Players)

3rd Most Important Player- Marcus Rashford has two goals and three assists this Season.
2nd Most Important Player- Harry Maguire has led from the front in the heart of the Manchester United defence. He has scored one goal and provided an assist and featured in all seven games.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Bruno Fernandes has five goals and three assists in the seven games that Manchester United have played.

Newcastle United (Top 3 Most Important Players)

3rd Most Important Player- Federico Fernández has played a part of a back three in every game that Newcastle United have played this Season.
2nd Most Important Player- Callum Wilson has six goals and two assists, in eight games.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Karl Darlow has made 39 saves, the most of any goalkeeper in the Premier League.

Sheffield United (Top 3 Most Important Players)

3rd Most Important Player- David McGoldrick has scored two goals and has featured in every game, despite only starting half of the games that Sheffield United have played.
2nd Most Important Player- John Lundstram has started seven of Sheffield United’s eight games. He is an integral part of their midfield.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Aaron Ramsdale has made the second most saves of any goalkeeper in the Premier League, with a total of 34.
