My Favourite T20 11 (India- Team Three of Eight)

In a Nutshell

I have compiled a team of my favourite players from eight different countries in alphabetical order. To be eligible for selection a player must have played at least one T20 game for their country. To be a Captain of the team a player must have Captained a T20 team at the very least for a domestic T20 team. Find out who made my All Time T20 favourite players for India!

Opening Batsmen

Rohit Sharma has a good record at T20 international level as an opening batsman. He has a strike rate of 140.52 at the top of the order.
K.L. Rahul has an excellent statistical record having averaged over 40 runs per innings for India opening the batting.

Middle Order Batsman

Virat Kohli is possibly India’s best ever T20 player. He has an average of 50.8 in 82 T20 internationals.

Middle Order Batsman/Part Time Bowler

Yuvraj Singh averages over 30 runs per innings batting at number four in the batting order. He has 28 wickets in 58 matches, bowling left arm medium.

Other Middle Order Batsman

Manish Pandey averages nearly 60 runs per innings batting at number five at T20 level.

Other Batsman/Part Time Bowler

Suresh Raina averages exactly 36 runs T20 international level, batting at number six. He is a left handed batsman and a bowls right arm off break with 13 wickets in 78 matches

Wicketkeeper/Captain

MS Dohni has won 42 matches and lost 28 as Captain of India. He averages 44 runs batting at number seven. As a wicketkeeper he has taken 57 catches and has 34 stumpings.

Bowlers

Ravichandran Ashwin is a decent lower order batsman. He has taken 52 wickets in 46 matches, bowling right arm off spin.
Kuldeep Yadav has taken an impressive39 wickets in 21 matches left arm wrist spin.
Jasprit Bumrah is a right arm fast bowler who has taken 59 wickets in 50 matches.
R.P.Singh has 15 wickets in 10 matches for India in T20 cricket. He is left arm medium fast bowler.
