The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 8)

I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 8th part comprises of Sheffield United and Southampton.

Sheffield United

5- Oliver Norwood has started all 28 games that Sheffield United have played this Season. Norwood has 1 goal and 2 assists. He plays in the centre of midfield.
4- John Fleck has 5 goals and 2 assists this Season. Fleck has played in the centre of midfield.
3- George Baldock has played every minute of the 28 games that Sheffield have played in Season 2019/20. Baldock has 2 goals and 4 assists, generally playing on the right wing.
2- John Lundstram has 4 goals and 4 assists this Season. Lundstram plays in the centre of midfield.
1- Dean Henderson has kept the 2nd most clean sheets in the Premier League, keeping 10 clean sheets, as it stands. Henderson has been a revelation. He is 1 of the reason why Sheffield United could finish in the top 4.

Southampton

5-Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has been a regular starter for Southampton. Højbjerg has provided 3 assists.
4- Southampton are a better team with Nathan Redmond in it. Redmond has scored 3 goals and has 1 assist.
3- Shane Long may only have scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists, but Long is a quality player. He has the capability to score more goals.
2- James Ward-Prowse is a good player with plenty of ability. Ward-Prowse can play in the centre of midfield or even as a right back. He has 4 goals and 4 assists this Season.
1- Danny Ings is by far the most adept player at Southampton scoring 15 goals and providing 1 assist. Ings is a quality player that plays to his optimum level the majority of the time.
