Premier League- Player Pecking Order (Part 9)

The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 9)

I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 9th part comprises of Tottenham Hotspur and Watford.

Tottenham Hotspur

5- Dele Alli is a prodigious talent.
4- Son Heung-Min has scored 9 goals and provided 9 assists this Season.
3- Christian Eriksen should never have been let go by Tottenham. Eriksen is a quality attacking midfielder. He has been sorely missed by Tottenham.
2- Jan Vertonghen is a player that should be playing every game when fit and available. Vertonghen is a quality centre back. It’s an injustice that he hasn’t played more games this Season.
1- Harry Kane is a clinical finisher in the final 3rd. Kane scored 11 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 games. Kane will hopefully get back to the level he is capable of when he returns from injury.

Watford

5- Gerard Deulofeu has 4 goals and 5 assists. Unfortunately, Deulofeu suffered an injury and his return date is unknown. His absence could hurt Watford as he is a quality player; Watford sit in 17th place on the Premier League 2019/20 Season. They are equal on points with AFC Bournemouth who sit in the relegation zone.
4- Troy Deeney has scored 6 goals and has 2 assists this Premier League Season.
3- Abdoulaye Doucoure is a quality central midfielder. Doucoure has 4 goals and 3 assists for the Season.
2- Ben Foster is a quality goalkeeper. Foster has made the 6th most saves this Season. He has made a total of 89 saves.
1- Ismaila Sarr has 5 goals and 4 assists. Sarr scored a brace in Watford’s 3-nil win over Liverpool this Season.
