The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 5)
I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 5th part comprises of Leicester and Liverpool.
Leicester City
5- Harvey Barnes has been clinical in the final 3rd for Leicester City in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Barnes has scored 6 goals and provided 6 assists playing on the left wing.
4- Ricardo Pereira has scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. More importantly, Pereira has played in all 10 games that Leicester City have kept a clean sheet in. He has played at right back.
3- Kasper Schmeichel has only conceded 28 goals in 29 games in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Schmeichel has kept the 2nd most clean sheets in the Premier League this Season, with 10. He has been 1 of the most consistent goalkeepers this Season.
2- James Maddison has been outstanding playing in the Leicester City midfield. In the Premier 2019/20 Season Maddison has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists.
1- Jamie Vardy isn’t only the top scorer in the Premier League 2019/20 Season, with 19 goals, he has also provided 6 assists. Vardy helped Leicester City when the Premier League title in the 2015/16 Premier League Season. He is still a quality player, despite being 33 years old.
Liverpool
5- Georginio Wijnaldum is an extremely good player. Unfortunately, Wijnaldum rarely plays to his optimum level. He has only scored 3 goals and has no assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
4- Trent Alexander-Arnold plays at left back. Alexander-Arnold has been pivotal for Liverpool not only defensively, but in attack as well. He has scored 2 goals and provided 14 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
3- Andrew Robertson has been outstanding at left back. Robertson is not only a good defender. He has scored 1 goal and provided 7 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
2- Mohamed Salah is 1 of the best players in the Premier League as he has scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
1- Sadio Mane could possibly have the most ability of any player in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Mane has been exceptional. He has scored 14 goals and provided 9 assists playing on the left wing/striker.
