Premier League- Player Pecking Order (Part 6)

The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 6)

I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 6th part comprises of Manchester City and Manchester United.

Manchester City

5- David Silva is a midfielder that should be in the starting line up for Manchester City when fit and available. Silva has scored 3 goals and provided 9 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
4- Manchester City have kept 7 of 9 clean sheets with Kyle Walker playing at right back in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Walker has also been impressive in the final 3rd scoring a goal and providing 2 assists. He is a player that doesn’t get the recognition he deserves, because he doesn’t play every game.
3- Riyad Mahrez should start in every game that his fit and available to play in. Mahrez has scored 7 goals and provided 10 assists. He is always a threat in the final 3rd.
2- Sergio Aguero has been extremely clinical for Manchester City in the final 3rd. Aguero has scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
1- Kevin De Bruyne is a player that has perhaps the most ability of any Premier League player currently playing football. De Bruyne has 8 goals and 18 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.

Manchester United

5- Sergio Romero deserves to be in starting line up for Manchester United when fit and available. Put simply Romero is a better goalkeeper than David de Gea. Romero is an goalkeeper with plenty of ability.
4- Victor Lindelof has featured in 7 of the 8 games that Manchester United have kept a clean sheet in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
3- Harry Maguire has been a constant in the centre of defence for Manchester United in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Maguire has helped his team keep 8 clean sheets.
2- Anthony Martial has played a more attacking role in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Martial has scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists. He hasn’t only featured on the wing. Necessity is the mother of invention and he has played as a striker since Marcus Rashford got injured.
1- Marcus Rashford is a naturally gifted player. Rashford is clinical in the final 3rd. He scored 14 goals and provided 5 assists in the 22 games that his played in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
