Premier League- Player Pecking Order (Part 1)

The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 1)

I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 1st part comprises of AFC Bournemouth and Arsenal.

AFC Bournemouth

5- Joshua King has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists. King deserves more game time.
4- Ryan Fraser plays on the wing. Fraser has scored 1 goal and provided 5 assists.
3- Harry Wilson should play every game, but for some reason he doesn’t. Harry Wilson has scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist playing on the right wing.
2- AFC Bournemouth can thank Nathan Ake to some extent for still having a chance to get out of the relegation zone when the Premier League restarts on Wednesday the 17th of June. Ake hasn’t only been impressive defensively. He has 2 goals and 1 assist, which shows his value to the team.
1- Callum Wilson would get a lot more goals and recognition if he played at a club higher on the ladder. Regardless, Callum Wilson has scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists. He is a quality striker who has the capability to play for a bigger club.

Arsenal

5- Nicholas Pepe has an impressive 6 goals and 4 assists. Pepe is getting the most out of his ability in the final 3rd.
4- Mesut Ozil is an extremely talented midfielder. Ozil has 1 goal and 3 assists as it stands. He has scored an impressive 23 goals for Germany at international level. That shows how much ability Ozil has and that Arsenal aren’t getting the best out of him in the Premier League Season as it stands.
3- Alexandre Lacazette has 7 goals and 4 assists. Lacazette’s form warrants more game time. He could play for a team higher on the Premier League table than Arsenal, who currently sit 9th.
2- Patrick-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 17 goals and 3 assists. Aubameyang also has the ability to play in the midfield.
1- Bernd Leno has made the 2nd most saves of any goalkeeper in the Premier League. Leno has made 104 saves and only conceded the 8th most goals, conceding 36 goals. That’s a pretty impressive record.
