Wellington Phoenix (My Top 5 Favourite Players)

5- Ulises Davilla (Attacking Midfielder, Winger)

Ulises Davilla has been a pivotal part of a lot of the action in the Wellington Phoenix’s forays into the final third. Despite having scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists, Davilla is a humble character.

4– Cameron Devlin (Centre Midfield)

Cameron Devlin was an astute signing by Ufuk Talay; Devlin has featured in 16 of 20 games, starting 12 of the 16 games. He helped the Wellington Phoenix control the game playing his role in the middle of the park.

3- Luke DeVere (Centre Back)

Luke DeVere has been a permanent part of the Wellington Phoenix team in the centre of defence as he has started all 20 games that the Phoenix have played in A-League Season 2019/20.

2- Liberato Cacace (Left Back)

Liberato Cacace is undoubtedly the best left back in the competition; Cacace has the capability to go a top European club.

1- Stefan Marinovic (Goalkeeper)

Stefan Marinovic is arguably the best goalkeeper in the A-League, yet he goes about his job with little fuss, keeping his feet on the ground.

Western Sydney Wanderers (My Top 5 Favourite Players)

5- Matthew Jurman (Centre Back)

Matthew Jurman is a quality centre back and a humble person that always has a good attitude. Jurman started 19 out of 21 games for the Western Wanderers thus far in the A-League 2019/20 Season.

4- Mitchell Duke (Striker)

Mitchell Duke has been an inspiration, leading from the front; Duke’s belief in himself has never wavered. Duke’s endeavour is particularly impressive, along with the manner in which he conducts himself when the Western Sydney Wanderers were losing earlier in the A-League 2019/20 Season.

3- Keanu Baccus (Centre Midfield)

Keanu Baccus missed a few games as he was away with the Olyroos. Keanu Baccus has been a key part of the Western Sydney Wanderers midfield. He has started 15 of the Wanderers 21 games in the A-League 2019/20 Season.

2- Dylan McGowan (Centre Back)

Dylan McGowan never gets flustered in the centre of defence. That being the case, despite the Western Sydney Wanderers were struggling to win games, earlier in the A-League 2019/20 Season.

1- Daniel Lopar (Goalkeeper)

Daniel Lopar is a quality goalkeeper who is a calm character that stays relaxed. His attitude seems to influence the rest of the team in a positive manner. Lopar is arguably 1 of the best imports in the A-League 2019/20 Season.

Western United (My Top 5 Favourite Players)

5- Besart Berisha (Striker)

Besart Berisha is a player that still has the ability to cause the opposition problems in the final third.

4- Filip Kurto (Goalkeeper)

Filip Kurto has been a good signing by Mark Rudan from the Wellington Phoenix; Kurto always endeavours to try his best and play to his potential.

3- Alessandro Diamanti (Attacking Midfielder)

Alessandro Diamanti is an outstanding player and a good leader; Diamanti has been a part of many of Western United’s attacking forays with his passing exquisite.

2- Max Burgess (Forward)

Max Burgess is a player that has plenty of ability; Burgess just needs to build his belief in himself in the final third. He has done so in the last couple of games and has scored a hat trick!

1- Josh Risdon (Right Wing)

Josh Risdon has profited from Coach Mark Rudan utilizing him in the midfield on the right hand side. Risdon has previously always played right back, but it was the right decision to change his role.
