Perth Glory (My Top 5 Favourite Players)
5- Liam Reddy (Goalkeeper)
Liam Reddy is an inspiration; Reddy is the sporting definition of a journeyman, having played for 6 of the A-League teams. He has only conceded 22 goals and has started in every 1 of the Perth Glory’s A-League 2019/20 Season.
4- Ivan Franjic (Right Wing)
Ivan Franjic is a quality player, who has had a reasonable A-League 2019/20 Season making many marauding runs on the right hand side. Franjic goes about his business with no fuss.
3- Diego Castro (Attacking Midfield)
Diego Castro played 18 games scoring 4 goals and provided 7 assists. Castro has often been an important part of most of the attacking forays of the Perth Glory in the A-League 2019/20 Season.
2- James Meredith (Left Wing)
James Meredith was contemplating retirement, but was talked out of retirement by Tony Popovic. Popovic has been vindicated in his decision to stop Meredith from retiring as a footballer as he has been an integral part of the Perth Glory’s team. He has featured in 16 of the 20 games that the Perth Glory have been involved in the 2019/20 A-League Season.
1- Alex Grant (Centre Back)
Alex Grant has been a pivotal part of the Perth Glory team in the 2019/20 A-League Season. Grant is a quality character; he is partly the reason why the Perth Glory are currently in the top 6. He is proof that someone doesn’t have to be a leader to make their teammates better; he leads by example.
Sydney FC (My Top 5 Favourite Players)
5- Milos Ninkovic (Utility)
Milos Ninkovic scored 5 goals and has provided 2 assists; Ninkovic is an inspiration, because he is still playing well, despite the fact he is in his mid-30s.
4- Paulo Retre (Centre Midfield)
Paulo Retre is a player that I have always believed him; Retre has been a revelation in the centre of midfield in the A-League 2019/20 Season.
3- Rhyan Grant (Right Back)
Rhyan Grant is currently the right back for the Socceroos, because of his work rate; Grant always makes marauding runs down the right hand side.
2- Luke Brattan (Centre Midfield)
Luke Brattan is a key part of Sydney FC being on the top of the A-League ladder as it stands. Brattan has helped the Sydney FC control the balance of play many a time.
1- Andrew Redmayne (Goalkeeper)
Andrew Redmayne has been a part of the Socceroos squad of recent times. Redmayne is a quality goalkeeper that has the potential to be in the starting 11 for the Socceroos if he lives up to his potential.
