My Top 5 Most Important Players for Each Team in the A-League 2019/20 Season (Part 5- As of March 23^rd)

Since there are 11 teams in the A-League, which is an odd number of teams; obviously. Part 5 contains 3 teams instead of 2, unlike the other 4 parts. The 5^th part of this topic analyses the Wellington Phoenix, Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United. As with the 1^st 4 parts it was extremely difficult to narrow down the top 5 most important players for each team!

Wellington Phoenix (Top 5 Most Important Players)

5^th Most Important Player- Luke DeVere- DeVere played a pivotal role in the centre of defence for the Wellington Phoenix.
4^th Most Important Player- Cameron Devlin- Devlin never stopped trying, playing exquisite passes.
3^rd Most Important Player- Ulises Davila- Davila scored 11 goals and had 5 assists.
2^nd Most Important Player- Liberato Cacace- Cacace had an outstanding work rate. He made many marauding runs scoring 3 goals, despite playing in defence.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Stefan Marinovic- Marinovic is a top-class goalkeeper.

Western Sydney Wanderers (Top 5 Most Important Players)

5^th Most Important Player- Daniel Georgievski- Georgievski displayed an outstanding work rate on the left wing.
4^th Most Important Player- Nicolai Muller- Muller has 5 goals and 3 assists.
3^rd Most Important Player- Dylan McGowan played well in the centre of defence.
2^nd Most Important Player- Mitchell Duke- Duke top scored for the Western Sydney Wanderers with 11 goals. Duke’s leadership has been particularly impressive.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Daniel Lopar- Lopar is arguably one of the top goalkeepers in the A-League.

Western United (Top 5 Most Important Players)

5^th Most Important Player- Max Burgess- Burgess has an outstanding work rate and was rewarded for it with 4 goals and 3 assists.
4^th Most Important Player- Filip Kurto- Kurto justified Western United’s decision to recruit him, making some good saves.
3^rd Most Important Player- Besart Berisha- Berisha has scored 15 goals.
2^nd Most Important Player- Joshua Risdon- Risdon has an impressive 7 assists!
THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER- Alessandro Diamanti- Diamanti has 5 goals and 7 assists!
