A-League 2019/20- Round 10 My Preview

A-League 2019/20- Round 10 My Preview

There is little separating all of the teams in the A-League from a performance point of view, which makes it very difficult to make predictions and Round 10 is no exception!

Team with Round 10 Bye: Adelaide United

My Choice of a definite winner for this Round: Western United

Friday Night Game

Brisbane Roar v Western United
Brisbane Roar sit 3rd last on the A-League ladder as it stands, despite having beaten Melbourne City 4-3 earlier in the Season. Western United have been in reasonable form as they are 4th on the A-League ladder, which is good considering it’s their 1st Season in the A-League.
Brisbane Roar Game Changer: Stefan Mauk
Western United Game Changer: Besart Berisha
My Prediction: Western United

Saturday Evening Game

Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix
Melbourne Victory are languishing 2nd from the bottom of the A-League ladder as it stands. Wellington Phoenix have been in some descent form of late having won their last 3 games this Season and therefore I expect Melbourne Victory to claim all 3 points.
Melbourne Victory Game Changer: Adama Traore
Wellington Phoenix Game Changer: Jaushua Sotirio
My Prediction: Wellington Phoenix

Saturday Night Games

Sydney FC v Central Coast Mariners
Sydney FC may be complacent as they had a 5-1 win in Round 9 against Brisbane Roar.
Sydney FC Game Changer: Paulo Retre
Central Coast Mariners Game Changer: Gianni Stensness
My Prediction: Central Coast Mariners

Perth Glory v Western Sydney Wanderers
This game is a pivotal one for both teams as it’s 7th against 6th and may be a watershed moment if Western Sydney Wanderers can get a win away from home.
Perth Glory Game Changer: Alex Grant
Western Sydney Wanderers Game Changer: Kwame Yeboah
My Prediction: Western Sydney Wanderers

Sunday Night Game

Newcastle Jet v Melbourne City
Newcastle Jets need a win to stay in touch with the top 6, while Melbourne City need to get back to their best as they were extremely disappointing in Round 9, losing 3-nil to Perth Glory.
Newcastle Jets Game Changer: Jason Hoffman
Melbourne City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
My Prediction: Newcastle Jets
