Premier League Game Week 9 My Review (Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool)
This time around there were only two games to report on as Chelsea hosted Manchester United in an exciting contest. Liverpool were away to Huddersfield in a game that was closer than what would have been predicted. All three teams managed to get a result once again. The results leave Liverpool and Chelsea unbeaten still, remarkably. Liverpool are joint top of the table, while Manchester United sit in tenth place.
Chelsea v Manchester United My Review
This was one of the best games of the season; it will be remembered for a long time. It was end to end, fascinating football. The game contest was extremely exciting. The game ebbed and flowed. Chelsea took the lead near the midway point of the first half with Antonio Rudiger opening the scoring. It seemed like doom and gloom for Manchester United. Then everything changed when Anthony Martial levelled the scoring in the second half. The momentum seemed to shift in favour of United after that point. Martial then made it two-one and the game appeared to be United’s to lose. The game was in the balance until the final minute of stoppage time in the second half where substitute Ross Barkley made the score two-all. It was an amazing finish to a truly extraordinary contest.
Huddersfield v Liverpool My Review
I expected Liverpool to cruise to victory in this contest, but they didn’t. They found it tough. On paper it looked like they would have a resounding victory they would have kept them equal top of the table, however that wasn’t how it panned out. They managed to open the scoring midway through the first half through Mohamed Salah. That was how the game stayed for the remainder of the contest with Liverpool claiming a narrow one-nil victory, but I guess at the end of the day a win is a win.
