Premier League- Player Pecking Order (Part 4)

The Top 5 Players Based on Ability in Each Team (2019/20- Part 4)

I have devised a Premier League Pecking Order for every team in the Premier League divided into ten parts with two teams per part. The ability of each team’s top 5 players with the parts been done in alphabetical order, with regards to the team’s names. To be eligible to be a part of the Premier League Pecking Order a player must have been part of a Premier League team as of January 1, 2020. It was formulated up until March 10, which was the last Premier League fixture prior to postponement. There are 5 players that have been selected based on their ability. The 4th part comprises of Crystal Palace and Everton.

Crystal Palace

5- James McArthur has provided 4 assists in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
4- Jordan Ayew has 2 assists to go with his 8 goals in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
3- Wilfried Zaha has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists and is one of the reasons why Crystal Palace are even on points with Burnley who are situated in the 10th on the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
2- Patrick Van Aanholt featured in 22 of Crystal Palace’s 29 games in the Premier League 2019/20 Season. Crystal Palace has kept 7 of 9 clean sheets with Van Aanholt in the team. What’s also impressive is the 3 goals that he has scored this Season.
1- Gary Cahill may be 34 years old, but his still 1 of the most talented defenders in the Premier League. Cahill has played 20 of Crystal Palace’s 29 games in the Premier League 2019/20 Season, but they have kept 6 of their 9 clean sheets with him in the team. He has also provided 1 assist.

Everton

5- Gylfi Sigurðsson may have struggled only scoring 1 goal in the current Premier League Season. Sigurðsson may have provided 3 assists, but his not playing to his potential. He is a proven threat who should play as an attacking midfielder every game.
4- Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored 13 goals and provided 1 assist in the Premier League 2019/20 Season.
3- Richarlison has scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists. He has been extremely good in the final 3rd.
2- Theo Walcott is a player that should have played every game in the Premier League 2019/20 Season as he has plenty of ability. Walcott has only scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists this Season. He scored 65 goals in 270 games when he was in the Arsenal squad.
1- Leighton Baines lack of game time is one of the reasons why Everton sit in 12th position on the Premier League 2019/20 table. Baines has only featured in 5 games, 4 of the 5 games he has been a substitute. Remarkably, 2 of the 4 games that he has been in the starting line up Everton have drawn 1-all.
