Top 50 players in the AFL Season 2023 (30-21)

30- Will Day (Hawthorn Hawks)

Will Day was outstanding for the Hawks as he won their best and fairest, even though he missed two games through suspension. He was consistent and unfortunate to miss out on the AFL All-Australian squad of 44.

29- Rowan Marshall (St Kilda Saints)

Rowan Marshall of the Saints remarkably averaged 20.54 disposals per game, even though he played in the ruck. He was one of three players from their team that was chosen in the AFL All-Australian squad of 44.

28- Jai Newcombe (Hawthorn Hawks)

Newcombe was one of three Hawks players that was chosen in the AFL All-Australian squad of 44. He averaged 5.50 clearances per game.

27- Jacob Weitering (Carlton Blues)

Weitering won the Blues best and fairest as he had an outstanding season; he never gave up and averaged 7.73 intercepts per game.

26- Stephen Coniglio (GWS Giants)

Coniglio featured in 25 of 26 games for the Giants and averaged 28.24 disposals per game. He was one of three Giants players chosen in the AFL All-Australian squad of 44.

25- Tom Green (GWS Giants)

Tom Green finished equal second in the Giants best and fairest and averaged the most disposals of any player in the AFL, with 32.05. He is a quality player and had a fantastic season.

24- Darcy Moore (Collingwood Magpies)

Darcy Moore averaged the fourth equal most intercepts per game of any player in the AFL, with 8.38.

23- Jordan De Goey (Collingwood Magpies)

De Goey was one of five Magpies that was chosen in the AFL All-Australian squad of 44.

22- Zach Merrett (Essendon Bombers)

Merrett was the only Bombers player selected in the AFL All-Australian team, as he was named on the interchange bench.

21- Dan Houston (Port Adelaide Power)

Houston finished third in the Power best and fairest and was selected on a half-back line in the AFL All-Australian team.
