Arsenal
Arsenal put in an average performance only registering two shots on target. Despite that, they beat Manchester City 1-nil with substitute Gabriel Martinelli scoring in the 86th minute.
Aston Villa
They did well to equalise early in the second half, but would be disappointed that Ollie Watkins hit the post in second half injury time as his header hit the post!
Bournemouth
They aren’t up to Premier League standard as it stands; their conceding too many goals and not scoring.
Brentford
They led 1-nil for the majority of the game, until a brace from Manchester United substitute Scott McTominay.
Brighton and Hove Albion
Their coach Roberto De Zerbi opted to make six changes from their Matchweek 7 starting line up! They haven’t kept a clean sheet this season, but they sit 6th on the Premier League table!
Burnley
Would be disappointed to lose 4-1 against Chelsea after leading 1-nil!
Chelsea
It wasn’t the strongest opposition as Burnley let in soft goals, but they still scored four goals and hopefully for them they will build momentum.
Crystal Palace
Lucky for them their goalkeeper Sam Johnstone kept a clean sheet.
Everton
They scored three goals, which should hold them in good stead.
Fulham
Simply too good for Sheffield United.
Liverpool
They looked disjointed at times from a defensive perspective.
Luton Town
They just couldn’t score.
Manchester City
One shot on target says it all.
Manchester United
They scored two goals in second half stoppage time to clinch an unlikely win.
Newcastle United
They could’ve been 3-1 up in the 73rd minute against West Ham United as star striker Alexander Isak just missed out on a hat-trick so they had to settle for a draw.
Nottingham Forest
Had chances to score, but they weren’t quite clinical enough.
Sheffield United
Their lack of quality shone through.
Tottenham Hotspur
Played the second half with ten-men, but hung on for a win against Luton Town.
West Ham United
Fortunate not to lose the game as they scored an equaliser in the 89th minute through Mohamed Kudus.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
They took the lead in the 53rd minute through striker Hwang Hee-Chan, but would be relieved not to lose after conceding a goal two minutes later and surviving a late scare.
