Brennan Cox finished second in the Fremantle Best and Fairest last season.
Alex Pearce finished fourth in the Fremantle Best and Fairest in season 2022, despite missing three games.
Jordan Clark should improve in season 2023 as he has plenty of ability.


Andrew McGrath can improve in season 2023 and play different roles.
Jordan Ridley finished fifth in the Essendon Best and Fairest last season.
Mason Redman finished fourth in the Essendon Best and Fairest in season 2022.


James Aish should be a revelation for Fremantle in season 2023. He should play mostly on the wing in season 2023 with Blake Acres going to Carlton.
Jack Crisp won the Collingwood best and fairest in season 2022.
Zach Merrett finished second in the best and fairest for Essendon last season. That’s despite the fact that he only played 19 games.


Nick Daicos is a utility who could play in defence, midfield or up forward in season 2023. He won the 2022 AFL Rising Star.
Dan McStay should be an important player for Collingwood in season 2023. They needed to recruit a tall forward and that is what they did.
Nic Martin should play on the half forward flank in season 2023 to fulfill his potential.


Jordan De Goey would be a revelation in a forward pocket in season 2023.
Peter Wright won the Essendon Best and Fairest last season.
Patrick Lipinski averaged the second most score involvements of any Collingwood player in season 2022. He averaged 5.72 score involvements per game and played all 25 games.


Sean Darcy averaged the third most hit-outs of any player in the AFL in season 2022. He averaged 33.90 hit-outs per game in 21 games last season.
Andrew Brayshaw was a player that won the Best and Fairest for Fremantle, comfortably, last season.
Tom Mitchell could win the Brownlow Medal in season 2023. He leads by example.
