Backs

Tom Doedee averaged the seventh most intercepts of any player in the AFL last season. He averaged 7.65 intercepts per game. That is despite only playing 20 games.
Harris Andrews finished fourth in the Brisbane Best and Fairest in season 2022.
Daniel Rich averaged the most metres gained of any Brisbane player in 22 games that he played in season 2022. He had an average of 558.05 metres gained per game.

Half-backs

Adam Saad was selected on the half-back flank of the AFL All-Australian Team in season 2022.
Marcus Adams averaged the second most intercepts of any Brisbane player last season. He had an average of 5.94 intercepts per game in 18 games.
Sam Docherty finished second in the Carlton Best and Fairest in season 2022.

Centres

Jordan Dawson finished second in the Adelaide Best and Fairest last season.
Rory Laird was chosen in the AFL All-Australian team in season 2022. That’s despite only playing 20 of 22 games.
Blake Acres should be a revelation on the wing for the Blues in season 2023.

Half-forwards

Sam Walsh finished third in the Carlton Best and Fairest in season 2022.
Charlie Curnow won the Coleman Medal last season with 64 goals.
Josh Dunkley won the Best and Fairest for the Western Bulldogs last season. He should be a revelation for Brisbane in season 2023.

Forwards

Darcy Fogarty averaged 1.94 goals per game in the 17 games that he played last season.
Taylor Walker was selected in the AFL All-Australian squad of 44 in season 2022. That is despite the fact he only played 18 out of 22 games.
Charlie Cameron of the Lions is the best small forward of the three merged teams.

Followers

Reilly O’Brien averaged the second most hit-outs of any player in the AFL in season 2022. He averaged 36.95 hit-outs in the 20 games that he played.
Patrick Cripps won the Brownlow Medal in season 2022. He leads by example.
Lachie Neale is a quality player and season 2023 should be no different. He is also a good leader for Brisbane.
