My 50 Most Naturally Talented A-League Players- Season 2019-20 (40-31)

40- Aiden O’Neill (Brisbane Roar)

Aiden O’Neill has plenty of ability. Substantiating that is he has just signed a three year contract with Melbourne City; he will be a big loss for the Brisbane Roar.

39- Marco Tilio (Sydney FC)

Marco Tilio has also signed with Melbourne City. Interestingly Tilio is striker that deserved more game time when it was mathematically impossible for Sydney FC to lose top spot on the A-League ladder. Based on Tilio’s ability he deserved to play more football.

38- Ziggy Gordon (Central Coast Mariners)

Ziggy Gordon was a pivotal part of the Central Coast Mariners defence. Despite Central Coast Mariners having a poor Season in 2019/20, Gordon was one of the positives. He has plenty of ability to hold down a starting position in defence when fit and available.

37- Gianni Stensness (Central Coast Mariners)

Gianni Stensness was another positive for the Central Coast Mariners. It’s difficult to recall Sensness having a bad game as he is a talented central midfielder.

36- Adama Traore (Melbourne Victory)

Adama Traore is a player that is naturally talented. He has the capability of making marauding runs on the left wing, despite being a defender first and foremost!

35- Corey Brown (Brisbane Roar)

Corey Brown has the capability to play left back or left wing. It’s difficult to see why he wasn’t a permanent part of the Melbourne Victory team. Having said that a change is as good as a holiday and Brown played well for the Brisbane Roar.

34- Steven Ugarkovic (Newcastle Jets)

Steven Ugarkovic added goals to his game following the appointment of Coach Carl Robinson. That’s all that was missing from Ugarkovic’s game. Expect him to get an offer from an overseas club in the foreseeable future.

33- Josh Brillante (Melbourne City)

Josh Brillante is a talented player that’s capable of playing overseas. He is lacking goals and doesn’t get involved enough in the final third, but I’m sure he’ll add that to his game.

32- Ryan Strain (Adelaide United)

Ryan Strain is arguably the most talented right back in the A-League. The potential for Strain to go to a club overseas is there.

31- James Meredith (Perth Glory)

James Meredith has the capability of playing as a left back or on the left wing. There’s plenty of scope for growth with Meredith as he has plenty of talent.
