Defenders
Rhyan Grant (Right Back- Sydney FC)- Rhyan Grant was outstanding in Round 22 and expect him to replicate that form in Round 23 against the Perth Glory.
Luke DeVere (Centre Back- Wellington Phoenix)- DeVere has been a revelation, as his Round 22 display showed.
Ryan McGowan (Centre Back- Sydney FC)- Ryan McGowan will be at his best curtailing the influence of Bruno Fornaroli in particular.
Liberato Cacace (Left Back- Wellington Phoenix)- Cacace continues to prove that he has the capability of playing in Europe and Round 23 should show why, as he is a quality player.
Midfielders
Aiden O’Neill (Centre Midfield- Brisbane Roar)- Aiden O’Neill could prove why he could play at a higher level as he is a quality in Round 23.
Paulo Retre (Centre Midfield- Sydney FC)- Retre has cemented his spot in the centre of midfield for Sydney FC.
Steven Ugarkovic (Centre Midfield- Newcastle Jets)- Ugarkovic should benefit from the Newcastle Jets having the bye in Round 22 as he has a high work rate and is arguably one of the top performers in the centre of midfield in the A-League.
Strikers
Scott McDonald (Striker- Brisbane Roar)- McDonald scored a brace in Round 22, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is on the scoresheet once again in Round 23.
Roy O’Donovan (Striker- Newcastle Jets)- O’Donovan has already scored a couple of goals since he signed with the Newcastle Jets; expect him to score again in Round 23.
Craig Noone (Striker- Melbourne City)- Noone will show what a quality player he is against the Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday night.
