Nikolai Topor-Stanley (Left Sided Centre Back- Newcastle Jets)- For the second week in a row Topor-Stanley played well in the centre of defence.
Aaron Calver (Right Sided Centre Back- Western United)- Justified Western United’s decision to recruit him with an outstanding performance.
Rhyan Grant (Right Back- Sydney FC)- Rhyan Grant played an unbelievable game, particularly considering that he played for the Socceroos and had a long flight back from Jordan.
Midfielders
Scott Neville (Left Midfield- Melbourne Victory)- Scott Neville played a good game for the Brisbane Roar, Neville was a contributing factor to his team getting the three points.
Brandon O’Neill (Left Sided Central Midfield- Sydney FC)- Brandon O’Neill worked tirelessly in the centre of the park.
Josh Brillante (Right Sided Central Midfield- Melbourne City)- Josh Brillante displayed good skill, Brillante did brilliantly to provide the assist for 1 of Jamie Maclaren’s 3 goals.
Josh Risdon (Right Midfield- Western United)- Played an amazing game in midfield, Risdon showed why he was in the Socceroo squad.
Strikers
Jamie Maclaren (Left Sided Striker- Melbourne City)- Jamie Maclaren displayed why he is such a quality player in the final third with a hat trick.
Roy O’Donovan (Right Sided Striker- Brisbane Roar)- Roy O’Donovan was rewarded for his hard work with three goals.
