It was an exciting Round of football with an incredible 18 goals scored in the 5 games that were played, with the best game the last one between the Phoenix and City.


Thursday April 18th

Sky Blues v Glory
It was no surprise that the Sky Blues won this game as they had the superior players selected for the game with the Glory resting some players. Rhyan Grant was exceptional making many marauding runs forward.

Friday April 19th

Reds v Victory
The game ebbed and flowed; it took a piece of magic from George Blackwood with an outstanding header late on in the game. Remarkably George Blackwood was nearly subbed off before he managed to score the winning goal for the Reds.

Saturday April 20th

Roar v Jets
This was a disgraceful performance from the Roar; they were thoroughly outplayed in every façade of the game with the Jets annihilating them winning the game by an incredible 5 goal margin with the final score 6 goals to 1 in favour of the Jets.

Mariners v Wanderers
The story of the game was Matt Simon who managed to score a brace; Simon was the star of the show. The game was marred by a horrendous red card to Kye Rowles; it was a tackle that was capable of ending a career. The Wanderers were thoroughly outplayed losing the game 3-1.

Sunday April 21st

Phoenix v City
