A-League Round 26 My Preview!

A-League Round 26 My Preview

Prior to the commencement of Round 26 the Wooden Spoon, Premiers Plate and top 6 has already been decided so every team that plays should go about their work with a degree of freedom.

My Choice of a definite winner for this Round: Sky Blues

Thursday April 18th

Sky Blues v Glory
The Glory may take the foot off the pedal so to speak, as they have clinched the Premiers Plate. The Sky Blues should therefore be the hungrier of the 2 teams so they should win.
Sky Blues Game Changer: Andrew Redmayne
Glory Game Changer: Diego Castro
My Prediction: Sky Blues

Friday April 19th

Reds v Victory
This is a tough game to pick a winner in, but I expect the Reds to win this one.
Reds Game Changer: Ryan Kitto
Victory Game Changer: Ola Toivonen
My Prediction: Reds

Saturday April 20th

Roar v Jets
This is an extremely difficult game to pick a winner in, both teams have players that are playing for contracts, but I expect the Jets to get up.
Roar Game Changer: Matt Mckay
Jets Game Changer: Roy O’Donovan
My Prediction: Jets

Mariners v Wanderers
Both teams could use a win for their morale going into pre season, following on from a disappointing season from a performance perspective. I expect the Wanderers to have too much class in this one.
Mariners Game Changer: Matt Simon
Wanderers Game Changer: Roly Bonevacia
My Prediction: Wanderers

Sunday April 21st

Phoenix v City
Both teams have officially made the finals, but I think that Phoenix will have too much class in this one; the Phoenix will also have the home advantage factor to help them claim a morale boosting victory heading into finals.
Phoenix Game Changer: Max Burgess
City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
My Prediction: Phoenix
