Adelaide United were cruising with a two-goal lead, but Sydney FC scored their second goal in the 89th minute and their third in the 95th minute. Brazilian marquee Douglas Costa of Sydney FC put on a show with two goals and one assist, while Archie Goodwin scored himself a brace.
