Facts and Figures: Melbourne Victory had 52.5% possession and the only seven shots on target in the game. The goal scored by Wellington Phoenix was an own goal by Daniel Da Silva of Melbourne Victory. The game was controlled by Melbourne Victory, but they only claimed a point.

Game Two of Six

Western United (0) v Newcastle Jets (1)
Facts and Figures: Newcastle Jets had 33.6% possession and two shots on target, compared with Western United who finished the game with two. Western United had the better chances and should’ve won the game, but that’s football.

Facts and Figures: Sydney FC had had 43.7% possession and ten shots on target, compared with Adelaide United who had just one. It was an obliteration, as Adelaide United were deplorable and Sydney FC exceptional.

Game Five of Six

Melbourne City (3) v Macarthur FC (3)
Facts and Figures: Melbourne City had 61.4% possession and seven shots on target, while Macarthur FC had six. The game looked over at 3-1 in favour of Macarthur FC, but Melbourne City scored two late goals.

Game Six of Six

Central Coast Mariners (1) v Brisbane Roar (2)
Facts and Figures: Brisbane Roar had 54.9% possession and four shots on target, compared with Central Coast Mariners who had five. Both teams were down to 10-men in the second half. The game was entertaining for the neutral.
