Predictions- Round 14 (Predicted winner for each game in Brackets)
Port Adelaide v (Geelong Cats)
Brisbane Lions v (Sydney Swans)
(GWS Giants) v Fremantle Dockers
Richmond v (St Kilda)
Carlton v (Gold Coast Suns)
(North Melbourne) v Western Bulldogs
Round 14 (Teams with a Bye)
Adelaide Crows, Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn, Melbourne Demons, West Coast Eagles
Game One of Six
Port Adelaide v Geelong Cats
This is a game that the Cats simply must win if they wish to make the top eight and play finals. They will be boosted by the three inclusions; Patrick Dangerfield, Mitch Duncan and Max Holmes.
Game Two of Six
Brisbane Lions v Sydney Swans
The Swans must win this game to keep their hopes of playing finals alive. Hugh McCluggage is a big omission for the Lions due to concussion, as he is an underrated part of the Lions system.
Game Three of Six
GWS Giants v Fremantle Dockers
This is a season defining game for both teams. The Giants have been in better form of late. Despite that, it will be a challenge for a Giants team that simply must win.
Game Four of Six
Richmond v St Kilda
There’s no disputing that this is a tough game to predict. It could go either way and will depend on how good the two teams play on the day. Nevertheless, expect St Kilda to win this game; they should have too much quality for Richmond.
Game Five of Six
Carlton v Gold Coast Suns
The Suns are coming off a bye, while Carlton had a disappointing loss in Round 13 against a youthful Essendon midfield. It’s difficult to see Carlton win as they find it difficult to score.
Game Six of Six
North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs
North Melbourne have a great opportunity to cause an upset against Western Bulldogs. There’s no doubt that the Western Bulldogs are struggling for form and that North Melbourne are improving.
