Toby Greene of the Giants was at his best when the game was in the balance.
Mitch Lewis kicked four goals for the Hawks.
Eric Hipwood of the Lions kicked four goals.

Followers

Kieren Briggs of the Giants had eight clearances, which was the most of any player on the ground.
Tom Liberatore polled eight Coaches’ votes when the Western Bulldogs played the Power.
Zak Butters of the Power showed why he can win the Brownlow Medal in season 2023.

Interchange

Jai Newcombe of the Hawks polled seven Coaches’ votes.
Shai Bolton was arguably the best player on the field; Bolton played well for the Tigers when the game was there to be won.
Connor Macdonald of the Hawks polled nine Coaches’ votes.
Tim Taranto showed what his capable of in his display for the Tigers in Round 13.
