Round 12 (Teams with a Bye)

Brisbane Lions, Fremantle Dockers, St Kilda and Sydney Swans

Game One of Seven

Melbourne Demons v Carlton
Carlton can win this game in the midfield, as the Demons are missing arguably their best player, Clayton Oliver. In order for Carlton to win they need to deliver the ball into the forward 50 and kick straight when they get the opportunity.

Game Two of Seven

Port Adelaide v Hawthorn
Hawthorn could cause an upset and build on the last two games that they’ve won. They will benefit from having nothing to lose.

Game Three of Seven

West Coast Eagles v Collingwood
It’s just a question of how much Collingwood will win by. The coach of Collingwood, Craig McRae is a process driven coach so he won’t allow any complacency.

Game Four of Seven

Western Bulldogs v Geelong Cats
The Cats can win this game, because it’s a must win game for them and they are the reigning premiers. There’s no disputing that the Cats are missing some good players, but they still have a good mix of experienced and inexperienced players.

Game Five of Seven

Gold Coast Suns v Adelaide Crows
The Suns can win this game, if they can replicate their performance in Round 11.

Game Six of Seven

GWS Giants v Richmond
The Giants will regain Harry Haimmelberg from injury and should have a good morale after winning Toby Greene’s 200th game in Round 11.

Game Seven of Seven

Essendon v North Melbourne
This is an intriguing game to watch; don’t be surprised if there’s an upset.
