AFC Bournemouth: 2-nil is the most dangerous score in football for a reason

AFC Bournemouth scored the second fastest Premier League goal and led 2-nil. Despite that, they lost the game 3-2 and sit on the bottom of the table. There were plenty of positives as they nearly got a result against the team on top of the table.

Arsenal: Resilience, character and clinical

Arsenal showed why they’re on top of the Premier League table. It was about grit as they could’ve easily capitulated when they trailed 2-nil. They did the opposite, which was win the game!

Aston Villa: Keep picking up points

Aston Villa won a scrappy game, but that won’t faze them as they are moving up the table. Crystal Palace didn’t have one shot on target.

Brentford: A top four chance, if they can keep it up

Fulham had 64% possession and five shots on target, but narrowly lost 3-2 to Brentford.

Brighton and Hove Albion: Continue to create and finish

Chelsea: A win Graham Potter badly needed

Chelsea had to win in Matchweek 26 to help their coach, Graham Potter keep his job.

Crystal Palace: Only five points clear of relegation zone

Crystal Palace have plenty to prove as they failed to register a shot on target.

Everton would be shattered that they only claimed a point in a game that they were winning two times.

Fulham: They were competitive, but failed to claim a point

Fulham had 64% possession and five shots on target and narrowly lost 3-2.

Leeds United: Weren’t bad, but they left empty handed

Leeds United played some football that warranted getting a result, but that didn’t transpire.

Leicester City: No shots on target

Leicester City would be shattered that they didn’t threaten to score for the majority of the game.

Liverpool scored six of their seven goals in the second half. Hopefully for them, it gives them some momentum by lifting their morale.

Manchester City: Clinical

Manchester City scored two goals from the three shots that they had on target.

Manchester United: Complacency

Manchester United put in a disappointing display. They had the best chances to score at nil-nil. Despite that, they were obliterated 7-0 by Liverpool.

Newcastle United: Created chances, but not clinical enough

Newcastle United aren’t scoring, which is unfortunate for them as they didn’t play badly.

Nottingham Forest: What could be a crucial point

Nottingham Forest came from behind on two occasions and sit four points above the relegation zone.

Southampton: Massive win for morale

Southampton kept their second clean sheet in three games. They won the game against Leicester City and moved off the bottom of the Premier League table on goal difference.

Tottenham Hotspur: Never know what you’re going to get

Tottenham Hotspur should be disappointed with losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers. They needed a win for their top four chances.

West Ham United: A week is a long time in football

West Ham United won 4-nil in Matchweek 25, but lost 4-nil in Matchweek 26!

Wolverhampton Wanderers: An upset win

Wolverhampton Wanderers were fortunate to win as Tottenham Hotspur hit the bar twice. Despite that, they performed well and are now five points clear of the relegation zone.
