Brighton and Hove Albion played attacking football and they were clinical in the final third and great in possession.

Chelsea: The win they needed

Chelsea had to win a game and they did so due to a goal from Kai Havertz. Their goalkeeper Kepa Arrizablaga had a great game.

Crystal Palace: They need to be careful

Crystal Palace sit just seven points out of the relegation zone following a loss to Chelsea.

Everton: Threw away a lead

Everton led 1-0, but lost the game 2-1 against Southampton, who are the bottom team on the Premier League table.

Fulham: Missed penalty caused momentum shift

Fulham were unlucky that Aleksandar Mitrovic butchered a penalty opportunity in the 69th minute. They conceded a late goal to Newcastle United. It was bad luck for Fulham, as they’ve had a busy schedule as well.

Leeds United: Something must change

Leeds United sit just two points above the relegation zone.

Leicester City: They weren’t clinical 

Leicester City lost the game, because Harvey Barnes missed a couple of clear cut chances to score.

Liverpool: Listless

Liverpool had no winners across the park and were completely obliterated by Brighton and Hove Albion.

Manchester City: Not good enough, when the going got tough

Manchester City failed to create enough chances. They were a bit disjointed and there are plenty of problems.

Manchester United: A season defining win!

Manchester United came back from a one goal deficit in the derby to snatch all three points; they are building something.

Newcastle United: Don’t discount them

Newcastle United played some good football, but were fortunate that Aleksandar Mitrovic missed a penalty. They scored a late goal, which meant that they won the game.

Nottingham Forest: It was their lucky day

Nottingham Forest were fortunate that Leicester City missed a couple of opportunities to score, but they made the most of it.

Southampton: James Ward-Prowse led from the front

Southampton can thank their captain, James Ward-Prowse who scored a brace, which gave them a comeback win over Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur: One of those days

Tottenham Hotspur played well, despite losing, because Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was sensational for Arsenal.

West Ham United: Rock bottom

West Ham United sit in the relegation zone, who would’ve thought?

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Three points to savour 

Wolverhampton Wanderers did what they had to do to defeat West Ham United and now sit two points above the relegation zone.
