Goals Scored: There were 16 goals in six matches!
Clean Sheets: Three out of 12 teams that played kept a clean sheet.
Draws: There were two 2-all draws in six matches!
Round 2 (In a Nutshell): In Round 2 I correctly predicted three out of six results. In four out of four matches, where a team claimed three points the winning team had less possession than their opponents! There were two games where the VAR should’ve intervened, which needs to be rectified. Find out what else occurred in Round 2!

Facts and Figures: Western United had 49% possession and seven shots on target to Glory’s three.
Pivotal Moment: Dylan Wenzel-Halls of Western United broke the deadlock in the 78th minute. The assist was provided by Connor Pain. The ball appeared to be out, which would’ve resulted in a Glory goal kick, instead it was a goal to Western United.

Adelaide United Fight Back from Two Goal Deficit!
Facts and Figures: Adelaide United had 49% possession and both teams had five shots on target.
Pivotal Moment: Ben Halloran of Adelaide United scored the equaliser in the 91st minute, with a sublime chip over Melbourne City’s goalkeeper, Tom Glover, who gave the ball away cheaply and was caught off his line.

Saturday Game Four of Round 2- (27/11/2021)

Sydney FC (0) v Macarthur FC (1)
Sydney FC All at Sea!
Facts and Figures: Macarthur FC had 36% possession and five shots on target to Sydney FC’s four. Shortly after Macarthur FC broke the deadlock Craig Noone could’ve won his team a penalty as Sydney FC’s Milos Ninkovic appeared to trip him in the box. Thankfully, the possible VAR mistake didn’t impact the result.
Pivotal Moment: Lachlan Rose of Macarthur FC broke the deadlock in the 17th minute.

Melbourne Victory (3) v Brisbane Roar (0)
Victory Live up to Their Name, Once Again!
Facts and Figures: The Victory had 47% possession. Both teams had three shots on target! Marco Rojas finished the game with two assists!
Pivotal Moment: Ben Folami gave the Victory an unassailable three goal lead with a goal in the 50th minute.
