Illan Meslier (Goal Keeper- Leeds United)- Meslier put in a solid display for Leeds United as their opponents, Everton, had eight shots on target, with Meslier saving all of them! It’s partly due to Meslier’s performance that Leeds United managed to win the game!
Kyle Walker (Right Back- Manchester City)- Walker provided the assist for Riyad Mahrez’s second goal of the game.
Semi Ajayi (Centre Back- West Brom)- Ajayi was solid defensively for West Brom, in what was their win of the Premier League Season. Another thing that occurred was that they kept their first clean sheet of the Season.
Gabriel Magalhaes (Centre Back- Arsenal)- Magalhaes scored Arsenal’s only goal of the game in a 2-1 loss against Wolves.
Andrew Robertson (Left Back- Liverpool)- Robertson played extremely well for Liverpool in a 1-all draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Bruno Fernandes (Defensive Midfield- Manchester United)- Fernandes scored Manchester United’s first goal, which helped them claim three points.
James Ward-Prowse (Centre Midfield- Southampton)- Ward-Prowse was at his best for Southampton. He was the reason why Southampton went 2-nil ahead against Manchester United.
Kevin De Bruyne (Attacking Midfield- Manchester City)- De Bruyne provided two assists in Manchester City’s 5-nil win against Burnley.
Riyad Mahrez (Attacking Midfield- Manchester City)- Mahrez scored a hat trick for Manchester City in a superb performance.

Edinson Cavani (Striker- Manchester United- Cavani only featured in the second half, but he made a huge impact. As a matter of fact, he was the man of the match. He provided the assist for the opening goal and scored a brace. Somehow, thanks to him Manchester United won after they trailed 2-nil at half time.
Matchweek 10 Team of the Week (Final Thoughts)
Matchweek 10 was the first time I selected a player who was a substitute; Edinson Cavani! I tried to select the Premier League Team of the Week in Matchweek 10 as accurately as possible. It was a tough Matchweek to select a team in, as there were eight out of 20 teams that kept a clean sheet. The 20 goals were scored by a total of 12 teams.
