Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier will have to be at his best if Leeds United stand any chance of defeating Manchester City. If he can replicate his form from Matchweek 3 there’s a chance Leeds United could continue their good run of results, after winning two games in a row.

Defenders

Matthew Cash will have to be at his best if Aston Villa are to beat Liverpool. He will get the opportunity to make marauding runs forward as Liverpool’s left back Andrew Robertson does, leaving Robertson susceptible defensively.
Tyrone Mings has been extremely good in defence and has scored one goal and provided one assist for Aston Villa in their opening two games.
Harry Maguire, the Captain of Manchester United, will need to be at his best to curtail the influence of Harry Kane.
Luke Shaw will be looking to make a solid contribution for Manchester United.

Midfielders

Georginio Wijnaldum should try and prove that he should be a permanent part of Liverpool’s midfield when they play Aston Villa. He hasn’t missed a minute in three games this Season.
John Lundstram is a player that will need to be at his best if Sheffield United are to cause an upset against Arsenal.
John McGinn could help Aston Villa cause an upset against Liverpool. He needs to prove that the two assists that he provided in Matchweek 3 weren’t an aberration, but the start of a trend of him contributing for Aston Villa in the final third.

Strikers

Aleksandar Mitrović will be desperate to get back on the score sheet and emulate his display in Matchweek 2 if Fulham stand a chance of causing an upset against Wolves.
Anthony Martial will prove that he warrants a spot as a striker in the Manchester United team when they play Tottenham.
Patrick Bamford from Leeds United will want to continue his scoring run when they play Manchester City. He has scored a goal in all of his first three games in Premier League Season 2020/21.
