A-League 2019/20- Round 20 My Predicted Team of the Week

A-League, Round 20 Predicted Team of the Week (Remembering Melbourne City are the Team with the Bye)

Formation
3-5-2

Starting 11:

Daniel Lopar, Jordan Elsey, Dylan McGowan, Luke DeVere, Jack Hingert, Steven Ugarkovic, Neil Kilkenny, Michael McGlinchey, Corey Brown, David Ball, Bruno Fornaroli

Goalkeeper

Daniel Lopar (Goalkeeper- Western Sydney Wanderers)- Lopar has been a shining light for the Western Sydney Wanderers. In reality he is the reason why I believe they have a chance of getting a result, in Round 19, against Adelaide United.

Defenders

Jordan Elsey (Centre Back- Adelaide United)- Elsey has the capability of going overseas and potentially being picked in the Socceroos squad; Adelaide United’s Round 20 clash with the Western Sydney Wanderers should substantiate that.
Dylan McGowan (Centre Back- Western Sydney Wanderers)- Dylan McGowan will need to be on top for if his team is to beat Adelaide United; expect that to happen.
Luke DeVere (Centre Back- Wellington Phoenix)- DeVere will have to curtail the influence of Alessandro Diamanti in particular; which should happen based on the 2 respective teams performances in Round 19.

Midfielders

Jack Hingert (Right Wing- Brisbane Roar)- Hingert will be pivotal part of the Brisbane Roar structure in Round 20; as per usual.
Steven Ugarkovic (Centre Midfield- Newcastle Jets)- The Newcastle Jets will control the game against Melbourne Victory; thanks to Ugarkovic helping them control the midfield battle.
Neil Kilkenny (Centre Midfield- Perth Glory)- Expect Kilkenny to continue on his good form, in Round 20.
Michael McGlinchey (Attacking Midfielder- Central Coast Mariners)- McGlinchey will need to be at his best if his team is to win in Round 20 against Sydney FC.
Corey Brown (Left Wing- Brisbane Roar)- Arguably the best recruit for any A-League team this Season following his move from Melbourne Victory to Brisbane Roar; expect him to show why that’s the case in Round 20.

Strikers

David Ball (Striker- Wellington Phoenix)- Ball should have a good game against an out of form Western United; at least based on their Round 19 performance.
Bruno Fornaroli (Striker- Perth Glory)- Fornaroli will need to be at his best if the Perth Glory are to be competitive against the Brisbane Roar.
