A-League, Round 16 Predicted Team of the Week (Remembering Sydney FC are the Team with the Bye)

Formation

4-3-3

Starting 11:

Andrew Redmayne, Ryan Strain, Alex Wilkinson, Harrison Delbridge, Corey Brown, Josh Brillante, Paulo Retre, Milan Duric, Kosta Barbarouses, Jamie Maclaren, Max Burgess

Goalkeeper

Andrew Redmayne (Goalkeeper- Sydney FC)- Redmayne should show what a quality goalkeeper that he is in Round 16 in the Big Blue.

Defenders

Ryan Strain (Right Back- Adelaide United)- Strain should continue on from the form that he displayed in Round 15 where he made many marauding runs forward.
Alex Wilkinson (Centre Back- Sydney FC)- Wilkinson should lead from the front against Melbourne Victory and show why he is regarded as such a good leader.
Harrison Delbridge (Centre Back- Melbourne City)- Delbridge won’t be in the A-League much longer if his Round 15 performance is anything to go by; expect Delbridge to play at a higher level in the near future.
Corey Brown (Left Back- Brisbane Roar)- Brown was a revelation in his 1st game since being signed by the Brisbane Roar in Round 15 and expect him to be a valuable asset for the Brisbane Roar in Round 16 playing at left back.

Midfielders

Josh Brillante (Centre Midfield- Melbourne City)- Brillante should play well in what is a big game for Melbourne City against Perth Glory.
Paulo Retre (Centre Midfield- Sydney FC)- Retre should be a pivotal part of a Sydney FC team that should defeat Melbourne Victory.
Milan Duric (Attacking Midfield- Central Coast Mariners)- Duric will need to be at his best if the Central Coast Mariners are to get a result against the Brisbane Roar, which they should.

Strikers

Kosta Barbarouses (Striker- Sydney FC)- Barbarouses will cause Melbourne Victory plenty of problems defensively as he will be hungry to score against his former team.
Jamie Maclaren (Striker- Melbourne City)- Maclaren will be pivotal to a Melbourne City team that should beat the Perth Glory.
Max Burgess (Striker- Western United)- Burgess will show why he deserves to play at a higher level in Round 16 as he did in Round 15.
