Backs

Callum Mills played as a key defence, due to the fact that Dane Rampe and Lewis Melican weren’t playing. Harris Andrews showed why he could be the All Australian full back this season. Nic Newman kicked four goals! Zac Williams continued his scintillating form for the Giants. Jeremy Mcgovern displayed why he is such a highly rated player. Rory Laird was a big reason why the Crows won against the Saints.

Midfielders

Sam Walsh showed maturity beyond his years, Walsh was instrumental in the Blues being fairly competitive against the Eagles. Nat Fyfe played a big role in the Dockers winning against the Cats. Mitch Robinson showed how important he is to the Lions with a quality display.

Forwards

Will Hoskin-Elliott played a key role for the Magpies. Michael Walters showed why he has to be strongly considered for All Australian selection this season. Jacob Hopper was a standout for the Giants. Isaac Heeney kicked four goals for the Swans. Ben Brown was instrumental in the Kangaroos victory over the Hawks. Toby Greene was a key part of the Giants defeating the Swans.

Followers

Brodie Grundy was on form against the Suns. James Worpel showed that he has a bright future with a quality performance. Jack Macrae accumulated forty-five possessions!

Interchange

Todd Goldstein had a quality game for the Kangaroos. Marcus Bontempelli showed why he is an outstanding player. Adam Treloar was instrumental in the Magpies beating the Suns comprehensively. Bachar Houli continued his good form with a good performance against the Demons.
