Backs

Daniel Rich use of the ball was outstanding; Rich looked composed. Dane Rampe did a good job in negating the Hawks forward line. Jay Lockhart had a good game; Lockhart did a good job providing run out of defence and even went forward to kick 2 goals. Caleb Daniel was a solid contributor for the Bulldogs; Daniel didn’t stop working hard, trying to take the game on. Ryan Burton was an important part of the Power team that upset the Cats, kicking an important goal for his team. Jack Crisp worked hard for the Magpies.

Midfielders

Karl Amon had a good game for the Power. Luke Parker played a quality game for the Swans. Ricky Henderson showed why he has been the Hawks best player this season.

Forwards

Matt Suckling and Josh Schache helped the Bulldogs nearly defeat the Magpies. Daniel Hannebery was impressive in his first game for the Saints. Charlie Cameron kicked 5 goals for the Lions. Lance Franklin kicked 4 goals for the Swans. Tom Mcdonald accumulated plenty of possessions and kicked 2 goals.

Followers

Scott Lycett was probably the Power’s best player against the Cats; Lycett was instrumental in the Power upsetting the Cats. Josh Dunkley was prolific for the Bulldogs as was Jack Macrae.

Interchange

Dom Sheed was an important part of the Eagles having a fairly comfortable victory over the Bombers. Brodie Grundy was judged best on ground in the Magpies win over the Bulldogs. Marcus Bontempelli was a pivotal part of the Bulldogs nearly defeating the Magpies. Dan Houston played a key role in the Power being victorious.
