Backs

Dane Rampe celebrated his 150th game with a solid performance. Jacob Weitering played possibly his best game all season. Daniel Rich and Rory Laird accumulated a fair amount of the ball for their respective teams, providing plenty of run. Jack Hombsch helped the Suns be fairly competitive against the Kangaroos. Lachie Weller took the game on for the Suns, Weller was probably the Suns best player.

Midfielders

Patrick Dangerfield played a good game for the Cats. Patrick Cripps led from the front for the Blues, Cripps kicked 4 goals in the second half. Mitch Duncan had a solid performance for the Cats.

Forwards

Brad Crouch helped the Crows defeat the Giants with an outstanding display. Sam Reid and Will Hoskin-Elliott kicked 3 goals each and so did Jaidyn Stepehnson. Lance Franklin was prolific with 5 goals, Franklin was back to his best for the Swans. Isaac Heeney was one of the best players for the Swans.

Followers

Reilly O’Brien outplayed the Giants ruckman, Shane Mumford. Sam Walsh showed why he is a quality player. Tom Papley kicked 5 goals and won plenty of the ball, Papley played an important role for the Swans.

 Interchange

Angus Brayshaw didn’t stop trying all day for the Demons. Max Gawn was a stand out for the Demons accumulating over 30 possessions. Gryan Miers kicked 3 goals for the Cats, Miers played a key part in the Cats obliterating the Tigers. Josh Kelly was the Giants best player against the Crows.
