Premier League Game Week 36 was an Enthralling one as the Season heads Towards a Climax!

Premier League Game Week 36 My Review (Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool)

The Premier League is nearing it’s end, but the entertainment and excitement continues with the top 4 and Premier League title yet to be confirmed, at least from a mathematical perspective. Liverpool are still a chance to win the title mathematically, while Chelsea are yet to cement a spot in the top 4. There are many different possibilities that could occur and that is what makes the end of the Premier League season so intriguing. Manchester United can still make the top 4, while the title race is still on between Manchester City and Liverpool.

Manchester United v Chelsea My Review

Both teams would have seen this as a game that they would have been looking to claim all 3 points in, however having said that a draw did suit Chelsea as their goal difference is by far superior to that of Manchester United. United took the lead fairly early on thanks to a goal from Juan Mata. Marcos Alonso equalized for the away side just before the half time break. The score ended up staying at 1-all, which would have upset United as they could have used all 3 points in their pursuit of a top 4 spot.

 Liverpool v Huddersfield My Review

It was always going to be a one sided contest; at least it looked that way on paper. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were the stars of the show as they each managed to net a brace, while Naby Keita scored in the opening minute. Liverpool cruised to a 5-nil win over the hapless Huddersfield. It was already 3-nil at half time with Liverpool dominating the contest against a team that will be playing in the First Division next season. Liverpool kept the momentum up in the second half and predictable cruised to a dominant win.
