A-League Round 25 My Preview!

A-League Round 25 My Preview

It’s coming towards the business end of the season; every game means something, even if a team isn’t in contention for finals players and coaches are still fighting for contracts.

My Choice of a definite winner for this Round: Phoenix

Friday April 12th

Roar v Phoenix
The Roar need to win for their morale, while the Phoenix will be looking to win to claim a home final.
Roar Game Changer: Eric Bautheac
Phoenix Blues Game Changer: Liberato Cacace
My Prediction: Phoenix

Saturday April 13th

City v Reds
Both of the teams in this game will be looking to host a final, which could be a considerable advantage when compared with playing away from home. Both teams are difficult to get a read on as far as form is concerned.
City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
Reds Game Changer: Ryan Kitto
My Prediction: Reds

Wanderers v Sky Blues
The derby could go either way with both teams needing a win for different reasons; the Wanderers players are playing for contracts, while the Sky Blues will be looking to ensure a top 2 finish.
Wanderers Game Changer: Keanu Baccus
Sky Blues Game Changer: Josh Brillante
My Prediction: Wanderers

 Sunday April 14th

Victory v Mariners
Victory will be looking for a win to create some momentum heading into finals time, while the Mariners players and manager are playing for contracts. This game should be a good game to watch for the neutral spectator as both teams current position on the ladder is all but assured so they can play with a certain freedom.
Victory Game Changer: Kosta Barbarouses
Mariners Game Changer: Andrew Hoole
My Prediction: Victory

Glory v Jets
The Glory have all but assured that they will claim the Premiers Plate, while the Jets finals hopes are merely a mathematical possibility.
Glory Game Changer: Shane Lowry
Jets Game Changer: Roy O’Donovan
My Prediction: Jets
