What a Weekend of Football Round 20 should be! There are Sure to be Plenty of Talking Points!

A-League Round 20 My Preview

This is going to be a fascinating Round of football as it was tough to choose a definite winner. There  should be plenty of attacking football and hopefully that will mean that there are a lot of goals scored in Round 20 of the A-League, if last Round is anything to go by with at least 1 goal scored in every game. The Jets will be looking to keep their hopes of a top 6 finish alive, while the Melbourne derby will probably be the game of the Round.

My Choice of a definite winner for this Round: Jets

Friday February 22nd

Mariners v Roar
This is a tough game to predict; it could go either way as both teams have struggled this season; they are the 2 bottom teams on the A-League table as it stands. Having said that they have been competitive at times and both will see this as a winnable game.
Mariners Game Changer: Matt Simon
Roar Game Changer: Eric Bautheac
My Prediction: Draw

Saturday February 23rd

Phoenix v Sky Blues
This should be an interesting game between teams 6th and 3rd on the table respectively.
Phoenix Game Changer: Roy Krishna
Sky Blues Game Changer: Milos Ninkovic
My Prediction: Sky Blues

Victory v City
The Victory will be strengthened by the return of Terry Antonis and Ola Toivonen. City are sitting in a fairly precarious position of 5th on the table. City can cause an upset in this game.
Victory Game Changer: Kosta Barbarouses
City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
My Prediction: City

Sunday February 24th

Jets v Reds
This should be an entertaining contest as they Jets need the 3 points to ensure that they stay in the hunt for a top 6 finish and the chance to play in the finals. Therefore the Jets should play an attacking style of football and build from their win last Round against City and stay in contention for a top 6 finish.
Jets Game Changer: Matt Ridenton
Reds Game Changer: Mirko Boland
My Prediction: Jets

Wanderers v Glory
This could an extremely entertaining game as the Wanderers managed to score 3 goals last Round while the Glory scored 3 in the 1st half alone.
Wanderers Game Changer: Roly Bonevacia
Glory Game Changer: Shane Lowry
My Prediction: Glory
