What a Weekend of Football Round 19 Should Be in the A-League; Every Game is Intriguing!

A-League Round 19 My Preview

In Round 19 of the A-League there are some intriguing contests starting with the clash between the Phoenix and Victory. There should be plenty of goals and action with everything returning to normal as far as fixturing is concerned with the games no longer coming as thick and fast, with everything returning to normality with games now being played once a week. The Glory should win this week against the Roar and just about assure that they win the Minor Premiership in the A-League this season.

My Choice of a definite winner for this Round: Jets

Friday February 15th

Phoenix v Victory
This is a tough game to predict, but I expect the difference between the 2 teams to be Kosta Barbarouses as he is clinical in the final 3rd. The last time these 2 teams met it was 3 all; hopefully both teams show the same attacking intent in Round 19 of the A-League.
Phoenix Game Changer: Liberato Cacace
Victory Game Changer: Kosta Barbarouses
My Prediction: Victory

Jets v City
The Jets should be victorious in this game and cause an upset as I expect the depth in their squad to be on show with youngsters looking to put themselves in the selection picture on a regular basis with a win over City.
Jets Game Changer: Matthew Ridenton
City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
My Prediction: Jets

Saturday February 16th

Reds v Wanderers
This should be an entertaining contest with an attacking contest on the cards as both teams will be looking to claim the 3 points on offer.
Reds Game Changer: George Blackwood
Wanderers Game Changer: Roly Bonevacia
My Prediction: Reds

Glory v Roar
This should be a forgone conclusion with the Glory looking to continue their good form.
Glory Game Changer: Chris Ikonomidis
Roar Game Changer: Eric Bautheac
My Prediction: Glory

Sunday February 17th

Sky Blues v Mariners
The Sky Blues will be expecting to take the 3 points in this contest, but they need to be careful about being complacent as they trailed 2-nil at half time on the last occasion that these 2 teams met.
Sky Blues Game Changer: Milos Ninkovic
Mariners Game Changer: Andrew Hoole
My Prediction: Sky Blues
