Sir Viv Richards was born in the British Leeward Islands on March 7^th, 1952.
He was a Right-handed Batsman.
Representing the West Indies at Test level in 121 games and in One Day International cricket in 187 games is pretty impressive.
He scored 24 centuries at Test level and 11 centuries in One Day International cricket.
At Domestic level he played for Combined Islands, Leeward Islands, Somerset, Queensland and Glamorgan.
He retired from cricket in 1993.

Sir Garfield Sobers- Former Cricketer (In a Nutshell)

Sir Garfield Sober was born in Barbados on July 28^th, 1936.
He was an All-rounder, who made his Test debut in 1954, for the West Indies.
His highest score at Test level was 365 not out!
He was a Left-handed batsman and a left arm bowler capable of bowling Left-arm fast medium and spin.
A big achievement for him when he was knighted in February 1995, less than a year after he retired from Test cricket.

Brian Lara was born in West Indies on April 21^st, 1969.
He was a Left-Handed batsman.
Remarkably, Lara played 131 Test Matches and 299 one day internationals, retiring from Test Cricket in 2006 along with One Day Internationals in 2007.
