The decision to retire from football was made by him on March 5^th, 2014.

In his youth he played for Bauru.
During his senior career he played for Santos at New York Cosmos.
He played 92 games for Brazil and scored 77 goals.
There’s no doubt that he was possibly the best striker in history.
