The opening game of the Round was a five-goal thriller, which was between Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC. Along with that, there was a game that had seven goals between Western Sydney Wanderers and Adelaide United.

Facts and Figures: Sydney FC had 68% possession and six shots on target, while Brisbane Roar had three. Remarkably, all seven goals in the match came in the second half. The winning goal came from substitute Jaiden Kucharski in the 90th minute, just one minute after coming off the bench.
