Game One of Six

Brisbane Roar (3) v Sydney FC (0)
Facts and Figures: Brisbane Roar had 41.1% possession and eight shots on target, compared with Sydney FC who had seven. Sydney FC were outplayed, despite them controlling possession and having shots on target.

Game Two of Six

Wellington Phoenix (2) v Perth Glory (1)
Facts and Figures: Wellington Phoenix had 48.4% possession and four shots on target, while Perth Glory had three. The game was in the balance for most of the game. Oskar Zawada played a part in both goals scored by Wellington Phoenix. Perth Glory had a penalty saved from an Adam Taggart shot from the penalty spot late in the game, which was saved by Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper, Alex Paulsen, while Perth Glory goalkeeper, Oliver Sail made an error, which led to the Wellington Phoenix first goal.

Game Three of Six

Western Sydney Wanderers (5) v Western United (0)
Facts and Figures: Western Sydney Wanderers had 50.3% possession and 11 shots on target, compared with Western United who had five shots on target. The score was 5-nil in favour of Western Sydney Wanderers at half time, which is the most goals scored by any team in the first half in the A-League. For the Wanderers both Lachlan Brook and Nicolas Milanovic finished with a brace.

Game Four of Six

Central Coast Mariners (1) v Macarthur FC (2)
Facts and Figures: Macarthur FC had 44.9% possession and five shots on target, while Central Coast Mariners had six. It was a game that was in the balance until the end. Kearyn Baccus scored the first goal in his A-League career in the 84th minute to make the score 2-nil in favour of Macarthur FC. Brian Kaltak of Central Coast Mariners scored in the 91st minute, which made the score 2-1.

Game Five of Six

Melbourne Victory (5) v Newcastle Jets (3)
Facts and Figures: Melbourne Victory had 58.9% possession and eight shots on target, compared with Newcastle Jets who had five. It was an entertaining game from start to finish. Bruno Fornaroli of Melbourne Victory scored four goals, all coming in the first half. Clayton Taylor of Newcastle Jets finished the game with a brace.

Game Six of Six

Adelaide United (6) v Melbourne City (0)
Facts and Figures: Adelaide United had 40.0% possession and seven shots on target, while Melbourne City had two, one coming from the penalty spot from Melbourne City striker Jamie Maclaren, who had his shot saved by Adelaide United goalkeeper, Joe Gauci. Adelaide United had a plethora of youngsters on the score sheet.
