Jacob Weitering of the Blues restricted Lance Franklin to two goals.
Sam Collins of the Suns kept Aaron Naughton quiet in the second half.
Tom Stewart had an outstanding game for the Cats.

Half-backs

Dan Houston played exceptionally well, despite the Power performing poorly.
Steven May of the Demons helped restrict Nick Larkey of the Kangaroos to one goal.
Daniel Rich was outstanding for the Lions finishing the game with 919 metres gained!

Centres

Jordan Dawson had a fantastic game for the Crows; he kicked two goals playing on the wing!
Jai Newcombe of the Hawks showed that he has the capability of winning the Rising Star!
Bradley Hill from the Saints had a fantastic game in what was his 200th AFL game.

Half-forwards

Darcy Cameron was unbelievable for the Magpies, as he finished with one goal, eight tackles and 22 hit-outs.
Jeremy Cameron of the Cats kicked three goals and had over 20 disposals!
Bailey Smith was fantastic for the Bulldogs finishing the game with 34 disposals and the most metres gained of any player in their Round 10 game, with 722 metres gained.

Forwards

Max King was exceptional for the Saints, finishing the game with six goals!
Charlie Curnow of the Blues kicked five of his six goals in the first half!
Marcus Bontempelli led from the front for the Bulldogs.

Followers

Jarrod Witts of the Suns finished the game with 55 hit-outs; Witts displayed great leadership, despite the Suns losing.
Clayton Oliver from the Demons finished with 45 disposals.
Tom Mitchell of the Hawks finished with 36 disposals.

Interchange

Mitch Lewis of the Hawks kicked four goals; most of them were late in the game when the game was there to be won.
Jack Crisp was outstanding for the Magpies in his 173rd game in a row.
Cameron Guthrie from the Cats finished the game with 38 disposals, ten clearances and 400 metres gained.
Joel Jeffrey finished the game with five goals; nearly leading the Suns to an upset win against the Bulldogs.
