In a Nutshell
I have compiled a team of my favourite players from eight different countries in alphabetical order. To be eligible for selection a player must have played at least one T20 game for their country. To be a Captain of the team a player must have Captained a T20 team at the very least for a domestic T20 team. Incredibly, most bowlers are spinners! Opening Batsman/Batting All Rounder
Jacques Kallis averaged over 40 runs per innings in 14 innings, opening the batting. He took 12 wickets in 25 matches bowling right arm fast medium.
Opening Batsman/Wicketkeeper
Quinton de Kock is most suited to opening the batting for South Africa in T20 cricket, averaging over 30 runs per innings. He has taken 39 catches and has 11 stumpings in 44 matches.
Middle Order Batsmen
Faf du Plesis is most suited to batting at number three. He has even scored a century batting in that position in the batting order.
AB de Villiers was a player that made everyone in the South African cricket team better. He is an outstanding person and he is extremely humble. He is the sort of person that leads by example.
Batting All Rounder
Jean-Paul Duminy is most suited to batting at number five in the batting order. His highest strike rate is batting in that position in the batting order. He has 21 wickets in 81 matches, bowling Right arm off break, despite being a left handed batsman.
Dwaine Pretorius has a strike rate of 150.00 when batting at number six in international T20 cricket.
All Rounder
Shaun Pollock wasn’t dismissed when batting at number seven in the batting order in the T2- format for South Africa. He took 15 wickets in 12 matches bowling right arm fast medium.
Bowlers
Johan Botha took 37 wickets in 40 T20 matches for South Africa. His economy rate is an impressive 6.38 runs per innings bowling right arm off breaks.
Kagiso Rabada averages an impressive 27 runs batting at number nine. He has taken 30 wickets in 24 matches bowling right arm fast.
