Goalkeeper

Karl Darlow helped Newcastle United salvage a point against Tottenham. It was remarkable that Darlow managed to make 11 saves from the 12 shots that Tottenham had on target!

Defenders

Seamus Coleman provided an assist for the opening goal of the game for Everton.
Victor Lindelöf helped prevented many of Brighton and Hove Albion’s attacks.
Tyrone Mings scored a goal and helped Aston Villa keep a clean sheet.
Andrew Robertson scored a goal that gave Liverpool a 2-1 lead in the 34th minute. He showed why he is one of the best left backs in the world.

Midfielders

Jarrod Bowen scored two of West Ham United’s four goals against Wolves.
Conor Hourihane scored a goal and provided an assist for Aston Villa.
Mason Mount helped Chelsea get back into the game against West Bromwich Albion scoring Chelsea’s first goal of the game in the 55th minute.
John McGinn provided two assists for Aston Villa.
Jack Harrison provided an assist for the only goal of the game in the 88th minute.

Striker

Callum Robinson scored two of West Bromwich Albion’s three goals against Chelsea!

Matchweek 3 Team of the Week (Final Thoughts)

I attempted to make the Premier League Team of the Week- Matchweek 3 authentic. With regards to the positions that I choose, they are as realistic as possible. I did want to select Jamie Vardy, as he scored a hat trick, but I chose to select Callum Robinson from West Bromwich Albion as he scored two goals in open play. Two of the three goals that Vardy scored were from the penalty spot. Another Leicester City player, James Maddison was a substitute so he wasn’t eligible to make the team.
