Brad Sheppard was an outstanding player for West Coast.
Steven May could possibly have been the Melbourne Demons best player against the Western Bulldogs,
Harris Andrews took some crucial intercept marks for the Brisbane Lions.
Brayden Maynard was outstanding when Collingwood weren’t.
Jeremy McGovern won West Coast the game against GWS with some quality intercept marking.
Rory Laird played in the manner that he usually does.

Midfielders

Lachie Hunter made every disposal he had count.
Matt Crouch finished the game with 14 tackles, which is indicative of his attack on the footy.
Zach Merrett was nearly best on ground in a loss against Richmond.

Forwards

Andrew Brayshaw displayed what an important player that he is for Fremantle.
Matt Taberner was the difference between the two teams as he was the best key forward on the ground.
Christian Petracca was the reason why the Melbourne Demons were competitive against the Western Bulldogs.
Dustin Martin was probably the best player on the ground.
Marcus Bontempelli played well when it mattered.
Mitch Wallis was dangerous in the forward 50 as he managed to hit the scoreboard.

Followers

Scott Lycett played a quality game and was good when it mattered in the key moments.
Travis Boak was sensational for Port Adelaide.
Andrew Gaff proved why he should be regarded as elite.

Interchange

Scott Pendlebury showed what a talented player he is.
Shai Bolton was judged best on ground in Richmond’s game against Essendon.
Mitch Duncan kicked a couple of goals and won plenty of the footy.
Cameron Guthrie had an outstanding game in Round 13.
