My Favourite 10 Sydney Swans Players (AFL Season 2020)

10- Josh Kennedy (Midfielder)

Josh Kennedy is 1 of the 3 Co-Captains in Season 2020 for the Sydney Swans. Kennedy performed well in Round 1 of Season 2020. Hopefully he can continue that form.

9- Harry Cunningham (Midfielder)

Harry Cunningham is a player that just needs to string some games together. Cunningham averaged 20.44 disposals from just 9 games in Season 2019. He has the potential to be a regular part of the Sydney Swans best 22 every game.

8- Will Hayward (Forward)

Will Hayward is a player that doesn’t have to get much of the ball to impact on the game. Hayward kicked 2 goals from just 4 disposals in Round 1 of Season 2020. He averages over a goal per game in his career.

7- Sam Gray (Forward)

Sam Gray is a player that has plenty of potential. Gray just needs to believe in himself in order to play to his optimum level.

6- Callum Mills (Defender)

Callum Mills didn’t miss a game in Season 2019. Mills finished 5th in the 2019 Sydney Swans best and fairest. He is also a quality person held in high esteem within the club. He is 1 of the 5 Swans players on the leadership group.

5- Jordan Dawson (Utility)

Jordan Dawson had a fairly good Season in 2019. Dawson missed just 2 out of 22 games. Expect Dawson to have a good Season in 2020 and become more well known as a player.

4- Luke Parker (Midfielder)

Luke Parker is 1 of the 3 Co-Captains for the Sydney Swans, because Parker isn’t only a good player, but a role model for younger players. He mostly plays through the midfield. He showed what type of form he is capable of producing in Round 1 of Season 2020.

3- Isaac Heeney (Utility)

Isaac Heeney is an intelligent player that has the capability of being a key player for the Sydney Swans in Season 2020. Heeney averages slightly over a goal a game. If his performance in Round 1 of Season 2020 was the beginning of a trend and not an aberration then he will be an important part of the Sydney Swans team.

2- Tom Papley (Forward)

Tom Papley is a quality player that’s capable of being a matchwinner, which Papley displayed in the bushfire relief game, kicking 5 goals for Victoria. He is a quality character to go with being an extremely talented player.

1- George Hewett (Midfielder)

George Hewett finished 2nd in the 2019 Sydney Swans best and fairest. Hewett played every game in 2019 predominantly through the midfield. He is a pivotal part of the Sydney Swans team.
